Who we are
FlowForecast ("we", "us") is a demand forecasting service for supply chain teams. The marketing website at flowforecast.nl is operated jointly by Remco Sikkes and Toby's Tech as joint controllers under Article 26 GDPR. You can reach us at hello@flowforecast.nl.
We are in the process of registering FlowForecast as a B.V. with the Dutch Kamer van Koophandel. This notice will be updated with the registered entity details once incorporation completes.
What we collect
When you submit our contact form we collect: your name, email address, the company name you provide (optional), and the content of your message. Your email is collected so we can reply to your inquiry; the other fields help us understand who you are and what you need.
We also store small values in your browser's localStorage to remember your theme preference ("ff-theme"), language preference ("ff-locale"), and whether you've dismissed the storage notice ("ff-storage-notice-dismissed"). These values stay on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. See our Cookie Notice for details.
Why we collect it and our legal basis
Contact form submissions are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract at your request) or, where you are not contemplating a contract, Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries about our service). Browser preferences are processed under Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in providing a usable site).
Who sees your data
We use the following sub-processors:
- Vercel Inc. (hosting and edge serving) — server-side rendering runs in their Frankfurt (fra1) region.
- Resend (email delivery) — receives your contact form submission so we can read it. Email delivery infrastructure is hosted in the EU (Ireland).
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with advertisers or analytics providers.
International transfers
All processing of your personal data takes place within the European Economic Area. We do not knowingly transfer data outside the EEA.
How long we keep it
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry. If a business relationship follows, we keep correspondence for the duration of that relationship and seven years afterwards for legal and tax records. Browser preferences remain on your device until you clear them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased (subject to retention obligations)
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw any consent you have given
- Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens — autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl)

Customers of the FlowForecast app
If you are a FlowForecast customer using the application at app.flowforecast.ai, this notice covers only your interactions with the marketing website. Customer data inside the product (uploaded series, master data, forecasts) is governed by a separate privacy notice provided within the application.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the page for at least 30 days.
